Xenia studies Biology at Imperial College London and is currently near the end of her placement year at GlaxoSmithKline in Stevenage. She is delighted to hold a Coldstream Guard Ash Scholarship, allowing her to have piano lessons at the Royal College of Music alongside her studies. Xenia has been actively involved in music all her life and has enjoyed many successes in various competitions such as first place in the open recital class of Chester Competitive Festival of Performing Arts 2012, being a regional finalist in BBC Young Musician of the Year 2010, first place in Warrington Young Musician competition 2008 and first place in the English Speaking Union Chester Young Musician competition three times.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Xenia Spencer-Milnes

In addition to solo performances including a lunchtime concert at Imperial, playing a piece with The Band of the Coldstream Guards and Imperial College Winds in a student scholarship benefit concert and performing a concerto with a chamber orchestra in Chester in 2010, she has experience in accompanying, playing orchestral piano and as keyboardist in bands. Xenia also enjoys singing in choirs at Imperial, has a keen interest in outdoor activities and likes hunting for bargains at car-boot sales.
