Pianist, Imperial College London

 

Dominic, from Hong Kong, started piano at the age of 5. Achieving the ATCL diploma later on, he continued to dedicate his time to music. He participated in his high school's music concert every year, with performances varying from melodica band to 1-piano-8-hands. He also wrote, arranged and sang the theme songs associated to various school events.

 

Apart from classical music, Dominic also enjoys playing music from various periods including blues, modern, folk and even anime music. His favourite composers are Rachmaninov, Chopin, Ludovico Einaudi and Joe Hisaishi.

 

Dominic is currently pursuing a master degree in Chemical Engineering. He also participated in various school activities, for example he was the member of the pop-dancing team of an annual Indian Society show, volunteering tutor and the vice president for activities of the CGCU in the coming academic year.
