​Classical Guitarist, Royal College of Music 



Originally from Brazil, Ariel began his musical studies at the age of 8. During his youth, he played many genres of music ranging from traditional Brazilian music such as samba, choro, and bossa nova, rock and roll, blues, and jazz.

​

At the age of 18 he began studying classical guitar at the Conservatory of Tatui in Sao Paulo, one of the leading conservatories in Latin America. After leaving the conservatory, Ariel travelled to the USA and Europe before furthering his studies in the UK.  In London, Ariel began studying flamenco with Francisco Antonio as well as classical guitar with professor Timothy Walker from the Royal Academy of Music.

Ariel earned his Bachelors of Music in Performance from the Royal College of Music studying under Gary Ryan and Chris Stell as well as having regular lessons with Craig Ogden and Carlos Bonel. In 2012 Ariel became an RCM Scholar supported by the Lucy Ann Jones Award Scholarship to pursue his Masters of Music Performance.
