In 2007, Eswhy was awarded the Gold Prize at the Asia International Summer Piano Academy & Competition held in Korea, and has performed for the Ambassadors of Germany, Poland, Austria, and Croatia at their respective National Day celebrations in Malaysia.

She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Birmingham, and is currently enrolled on the MSc Management course at Imperial College Business School.
Eswhy taught herself to play the ukulele, and her favourite composers are Bach, Dvorak, Prokofiev, and sometimes Brahms. Apart from playing the piano, she has very keen interests in marine life, baking, running, doing yoga, and travelling.
