Natasha has been working as Imperial’s Head of Research Communications for over five years. She began playing piano as a teenager, having originally started with the harpsichord. After leaving school she spent more time singing in choirs and going to concerts than at the keyboard, but in recent years has rekindled her enthusiasm for amateur performance.

 

Natasha learns with pianist and conductor Christopher Gayford and enjoys making classical music more accessible to people by playing in the home settings that many pieces were originally composed for. She sees parallels between this and her day job of making the College’s research more available to public audiences.
